Four engineering packs are catalogued in this family, all at Field Test · Rev 1.0 release. The counts below are the catalogue’s CAD-part and harness-wire counts — engineering package contents, not certified product.
| PACK | HOST MACHINE (FITMENT TARGET) | CAD PARTS | HARNESS | RELEASE |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SE-X007 | John Deere 310SL | 28 | 188 wires | Field Test · Rev 1.0 |
| SE-X013 | CASE 580 Super N | 25 | 298 wires · 37 families | Field Test · Rev 1.0 |
| SE-X014 | Caterpillar 420 | 25 | 298 wires | Field Test · Rev 1.0 |
| SE-X015 | JCB 3CX | 25 | 288 wires | Field Test · Rev 1.0 |
Host machines are named as catalogue fitment targets only — Steady Eddie is not affiliated with or endorsed by any OEM, and the yellow machine in this simulation is a generic class shape, not any manufacturer’s product. The hardware command adapter in every pack is release-gated until VTM / FAT / SAT closure. No hardware ships today.
| RUNG | STATE |
|---|---|
| SE-0 · INSTRUMENT | Demonstrated — read-only; nothing is commanded and the machine does not move. |
| SE-1 · REMOTE | Demonstrated behind a live gate — reachable only by pressing AUTHORIZE; declining holds at SE-0. |
| SE-2 | LOCKED — validation + fresh human authorization required. Not shown. |
| SE-3 | LOCKED — validation + fresh human authorization required. Not shown. |
| SE-4 | LOCKED — validation + fresh human authorization required. Not shown. |

A backhoe loader is a two-station machine: a forward loader station and a rear hoe station, with the operator physically turning between them. Eddie occupies the one operator seat and turns the same way — the film shows the turn as a real, visible event before hoe work begins. In the fielded packs, rear-station operation and creeper travel are each gated behind dedicated releases. Neither is a default capability, and this simulation does not pretend otherwise.
Dig depth, reach, breakout force, lift capacity, cycle times, travel speeds, stop-field and warning-field radii, geofence dimensions and hoe swing limits are not published for this family. This simulation therefore states none of them. Every zone, ring and boundary drawn in the EYE IN THE SKY view is illustrative geometry whose only job is to show what kinds of envelope the system enforces — never their size.
